Dulcamara, restaurant and lounge bar, is located at Ponte Milvio, one of the capital’s liveliest nightlife areas. Its restyling has preserved the soul and atmosphere of the historic bar, which opened in 1995, through the use of formal and linguistic codes from different periods, in a mix of tradition and modernity. The core idea behind the interior design is the ethereal, yet refined elegance of Japanese origami, which inspired the wooden bar countertops and raw iron bottle holder walls that delimit the most intimate section of the restaurant. Classic chairs with rounded backs, wooden tables and green leather sofas preserve the atmosphere of an old bistro, while Tom Dixon suspended lamps in various sizes and minimalist sinuous stools add a touch of contemporaneity to the interior.
